Tangle Teezer Review.

I’ve always been slightly sceptical of any brush or product that claims it “detangles”. I have a children’s tangle spray that works fine, but I was reluctant to try anything new. After watching many youtube videos praising the Tangle Teezer I decided to buy one whilst it was 10% off on feelunique.com.
Just for some background, I have almost waist length, thick hair. I have high- and low lights in my hair but I don’t use heat on it regularly.
The Tangle Teezer never claims to get rid of tangles, it claims to deliver “speedy and gently results.” I can honestly say it does for me.
It can take me up to 30 minutes to comb through my hair after I’ve washed it. When I used the Tangle Teezer it took less than 5!
I bought the bright orange version because I don’t have the tidiest bedroom and I thought it would make it easier to find, and I am really impressed with the shape of the brush as it fits perfectly into my hand.
In some reviews I have heard that the bristles on the brush can become bent easily, and therefore you have to buy more. At £10.20 a piece (on feelunique.com) it’s not something that I think I want to buy regularly unless it really becomes a staple.
The full size brush comes in 5 different colours and there are also compact and “aqua splash” versions.

Born Lippy lipbalm review.

So there are two kinds of “Born Lippy” lipbalms from The Body Shop, a pot version and a twist up balm version.
I have one of both, a pot of “Passionberry” and a twist up of “Pink Berry”.
Left-Passionberry, Right-Pink Berry
Passionberry is a deep purple colour and smells sweet and sour. This was the first one I got, and I have been getting it since I was little because I love the way it feels on the lips. It’s very sticky in the pot, but on the lips it is less sticky. I would prefer if this was a twist up lip balm as it does feel a bit unsanitary to keep dipping your finger into the pot.
Pink Berry is, you guessed it, a pale pink colour. It smells a lot more sour, and a little less sweet than Passionberry. This lip balm is extremely moisturising and honestly I love to lick it off my lips - it tastes so good! I will say that the actual stick of lip balm is very soft and can easily be melted or damaged.
Over all, I have to say these are some of my favourite lipbalms that I own, and I own a lot!
See you next time,
Lou xoxo
